Service Time

The service time of respiratory protective filters depends on the conditions of use. The end of service time of gas filters or the gas filter part of combined filters, most of the time can be detected by odour on the clean air side. The filter must then be replaced.

The end of service time of particle filters or the particle filter part of combined filters, most of the time can be noticed by an increase in breathing resistance. The filter must then be replaced. Particle filters that have been used against radio active substances, micro organisms or biochemically active substances must only be used once!
