Donning

WARNING! 

• Remove all jewelry (earrings, necklaces, rings) or other items that could damage respirator while donning and wearing. Ensure zippers or other garment objects do not interfere with donning.
• Do NOT place finger nails in a position that would tear or rip the neckseal or hood material while donning.
• If eyewear is worn, be sure to expand the neckseal outward far enough to clear the eyewear during donning.
• The neckseal may not provide satisfactory protection if hair, clothing, or other conditions prevent direct contact with the skin.
• Do NOT break the seal between your neck and the respirator during use.

Failure to follow these warnings will result in serious personal injury or death.

Remove device from box, resp. package and don according to steps 1 to 4.
1. Tear open plastic bag, take out and unfold the device.

2. Part the collar with both hands and pull the device over your head, seating the inner mask against your nose and chin.

3. Grasp the pulling straps with both hands and pull them to the rear.

4. The device is in use.

NOTE: Due to breathing resistance users of the escape respirators, especially inexperienced users may encounter breathing difficulties.

CAUTION! 

After donning the device breathe calmly do not panic. Leave hazardous area immediately.

Failure to follow this caution can result in minor or moderate injury.
