Inspection

Inspect the MSA Suspension Trauma Safety Step along with the fall arrest harness, before each use.

Inspect the webbing and stitching to verify that there are no cuts, burns or damaged webbing and no missing or broken stitches.

Inspect the entire Suspension Strap, including carabiner, if included, for damage including, but not limited to, tears, stretching, mildew/ mold, dents, deformation, kinks, corrosion, chemical attach, excessive heating, excessive aging or excessive wear.

Inspect at least annually by a competent person other than the user and log the results of inspection on the form provided or equivalent documentation.

WARNING! 

Remove the Suspension Trauma Safety Step from service if it does not pass inspection.

Failure to follow this warning can result in serious personal injury or death.
